Byron Buxton Joins Team USA for the 2026 World Baseball Classic

The star outfielder for the Minnesota Twins, Byron Buxton, has been officially confirmed for the United States national team roster that will compete in the 2026 World Baseball Classic. This was announced by the US team through its official channels. For Buxton, 32, this will be his first participation in the prestigious tournament, joining a team full of Major League stars who will seek to reaffirm American dominance in the event. The talented gardener joins a list of elite players that already includes names like Aaron Judge, Gunnar Henderson, Corbin Carroll, Kyle Schwarber, Tarik Skubal, Paul Skenes and Mason Miller, among others. Debut against Brazil
