WrestleMania Expands: Saudi Arabia to Host the Spectacle in 2027

Attention wrestling fanatics! WrestleMania, WWE’s flagship event, will break boundaries in 2027 by being held for the first time outside of North America. The “Showcase of the Immortals” will land in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of the “Riyadh Season” events. Since its inception in 1985, WrestleMania has been limited to North American cities. However, WWE’s vision of global expansion, led by Chief Creative Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, will finally materialize.

The official announcement comes after the revelation by Turki Alalshikh, chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, who anticipated the news through a video on Snapchat.

WWE has been holding events in Saudi Arabia since 2018, thanks to a billion-dollar deal that guarantees multiple shows in the country for a decade. The upcoming 2024 Royal Rumble will be the first of WWE’s four “Big Four” events to be held in Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, WrestleMania 42 will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 18th and 19th, 2026, marking the second consecutive time the city will host the event.
