Stephanie McMahon will be the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame 2026

In a surprise that thrilled the fans, Stephanie McMahon was announced as the first member to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2026. The announcement was made during the WrestlePalooza broadcast on Saturday, where WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker made a special appearance to announce the news.
The Undertaker, in his iconic “American Badass” persona, arrived at the ring on his motorcycle to surprise McMahon, who was in the ringside area. After asking “Are you ready?”, The Undertaker informed her that she would be the first to enter the Hall of Fame in 2026. Stephanie, daughter of former WWE chairman Vince McMahon, held multiple roles in the company from 1998 to 2023. Her career began in 1998 as an account executive and receptionist, before her first on-screen appearance in 1999, during the rivalry between Vince McMahon and The Undertaker. Subsequently, she became a wrestler and won the WWF Women’s Championship in the year 2000, while continuing to work behind the scenes as a director, senior vice president of creative writing, executive vice president of creative development and operations, and brand director. McMahon continued to make regular appearances and participated in several memorable storylines. One of those storylines became reality when she began dating and married professional wrestler Paul “Triple H” Levesque in 2003. In 2019, McMahon’s appearances became less frequent due to her increasing role in the company. She was named interim chairwoman and CEO following a board investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct against her father. Although she resigned from the position in 2023, she has made periodic appearances in the company, despite not having an official position in WWE. The 2026 Hall of Fame ceremony is scheduled to take place during WrestleMania weekend in Las Vegas, in April.
