WWE Arrives at ESPN: A New Home for WrestleMania and More Events
In a historic agreement, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and ESPN have sealed an alliance that promises to revolutionize the wrestling fan experience. Starting in 2026, the most important WWE events, including WrestleMania, will be broadcast exclusively through ESPN’s new direct-to-consumer streaming service. This agreement, announced on Wednesday, covers two-night events like WrestleMania and SummerSlam, as well as other premium live WWE events, such as Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, and Money in the Bank. The production of these events will be handled by WWE and will be distributed exclusively by ESPN platforms in the United States.The agreement also includes the transmission of pre- and post-event programs for WWE’s premium live events by ESPN.WWE has an immense, devoted, and passionate fanbase that we are excited to serve on our new ESPN DTC platform. This agreement, which includes the most significant WWE events of the year, reinforces our unprecedented content portfolio and drives our streaming future.

ESPN will launch its streaming service on August 21st with a price of $29.99 per month and will keep the name of the linear network: ESPN. The direct-to-consumer service will allow users to obtain the seven national ESPN linear channels, as well as ESPN on ABC and several other streaming options.We are proud to reinforce the “E” in ESPN at such an exciting juncture on its direct-to-consumer journey.
