John Cena to Headline WWE Premium Event in Indianapolis
The renowned wrestler John Cena will lead a WWE Premium Live Event next month in Indianapolis. This show will be available for streaming on ESPN’s streaming platform. The event, called Wrestlepalooza, will be held on Saturday, September 20th at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse starting at 7 p.m. ET. Cena will share the ring with figures such as Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre. Cody Rhodes, the current undisputed WWE champion, Seth Rollins, world heavyweight champion, and Becky Lynch, intercontinental women’s champion, will also be present. This event will mark Cena’s last appearance in Indianapolis. This inaugural event is part of the new five-year agreement between WWE and ESPN, which will bring Premium Live events to ESPN platforms. ESPN’s direct-to-consumer streaming service will premiere on Thursday, and subscribers to the unlimited plan will have access to all WWE Premium Live events as part of their package.Indianapolis hosted the 2025 Royal Rumble, setting an attendance record for the event at the nearby Lucas Oil Stadium. Entries for the event will go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. ET. Presales will be available on Thursday.
