John Cena to Headline WWE Event in Indianapolis

The renowned wrestler John Cena will lead a Premium Live Event of WWE next month in Indianapolis, which will be broadcast on the ESPN platform. The Wrestlepalooza event, which marks the beginning of this collaboration, will take place on Saturday, September 20th at 7 p.m. ET at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Dinner will be accompanied by prominent figures such as Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre. Cody Rhodes, current undisputed WWE champion; Seth Rollins, World Heavyweight Champion; and Becky Lynch, intercontinental women’s champion, will also participate in this highly anticipated event. This event will also mark Cena’s last appearance in Indianapolis. This event is the first within the new five-year agreement between WWE and ESPN, which will bring live Premium events to ESPN platforms.

Indianapolis hosted the 2025 Royal Rumble, which set an attendance record at the nearby Lucas Oil Stadium. Tickets for the event will go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. ET. Presales will be available on Thursday. In addition to Wrestlepalooza, two more events will be broadcast on ESPN platforms this year: Crown Jewel on October 11th and Survivor Series in San Diego on November 29th.
