Attention wrestling fanatics! John Cena will headline a premium live WWE event next month in Indianapolis, which will be broadcast on ESPN’s streaming platform. The event, called Wrestlepalooza, will take place on Saturday, September 20th at 7 p.m. ET at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Accompanying Cena will be Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre, promising an unforgettable spectacle. Cody Rhodes, the Undisputed WWE Champion, Seth Rollins, the World Heavyweight Champion, and Becky Lynch, the Women’s Intercontinental Champion, will join the event, marking a night of high-caliber wrestling. This event will also mark Cena’s last wrestling appearance in Indianapolis. This event marks the beginning of a new five-year agreement between WWE and ESPN, which will bring live premium events to ESPN platforms. ESPN’s streaming platform will debut on Thursday, and subscribers to the unlimited plan will have access to all premium live WWE events as part of their package.
Indianapolis hosted the 2025 Royal Rumble, which set an attendance record for the event at the nearby Lucas Oil Stadium. Entries for the event will go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. ET. Presale tickets will be available on Thursday.
