Caitlin Clark with No Return Date with the Indiana Fever

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark does not have a defined return date to the courts, according to the team announced this Thursday.

After undergoing additional medical evaluations this week, Clark will continue to work with the Fever medical team on her recovery and rehabilitation. The primary focus is on her long-term health and well-being.

According to the statement, the tests performed did not reveal any additional injuries or damage.

Clark hasn’t played since she injured her right groin on July 15 against the Connecticut Sun. Due to this injury, she withdrew from the WNBA All-Star weekend, where she had been selected as a starter and captain, and also missed the three-point contest.

The 6-foot base has been absent for 11 regular season games and the Commissioner’s Cup final, after being sidelined in three different periods. Previously, he also suffered injuries to his left quadriceps and left groin.

In the 13 games he has played this season, Clark averages 16.5 points, 8.8 assists, and 5.0 rebounds.

Without Clark on the team, the Fever, considered WNBA title contenders at the start of the year, have achieved a 13-12 record and are in sixth place in the standings. On Thursday night, they secured an 80-70 home victory over the Las Vegas Aces.
