Chicago will host the WNBA All-Star Game in 2026

The city of Chicago will be the setting for the WNBA All-Star Game in 2026, the league announced on Thursday. The event will take place at the United Center on Saturday, July 25th. This will be the second time Chicago hosts the game. The first time was in 2022, but it was held at the Wintrust Arena, the main venue for the Chicago Sky WNBA team. The United Center, home to the NBA’s Bulls and the NHL’s Blackhawks, has a larger capacity, with around 20,900 seats for basketball, compared to Wintrust’s 10,380. However, Wintrust will still be involved in the All-Star festivities, as it will host the three-point contest and the skills challenge, scheduled for July 24. WNBA Live, the interactive festival for league fans, will take place at McCormick Place in Chicago during All-Star weekend.

This will be the second consecutive All-Star Game in the Midwest for the WNBA. Indiana hosted the event for the first time earlier this year.
