Caitlin Clark joins the select group of athletes with her own Nike line

WNBA star Caitlin Clark has added a new achievement to her impressive career: becoming a Nike signature athlete. The number one pick of the 2024 WNBA draft was unveiled on Monday as the newest athlete with her own line of products from the iconic brand, which implies the launch of a personal logo, a sportswear collection and, eventually, her own sneaker.

“Nike’s flagship group of athletes is made up of the best of all time, and I am incredibly proud to join some of the best athletes in the world. I’m excited to share a first look at what we’ve started to create together”.

The personal logo of Clark features two intertwined “Cs” and a smaller, hidden “C”. According to Nike, this represents her “magnetic connection with fans around the world who are drawn to her unwavering confidence, consistent commitment, and remarkable shooting ability” and how “Caitlin’s game was built from the inside out: a product of her passion for the sport, her relentless drive, and her constant pursuit of perfection”.

“For me, this is more than just a logo, it’s a… People always talk about leaving their mark on the game, and this is another way I can do that.”

Clark’s collection will include t-shirts, hoodies, shorts, and pants for all ages, as well as premium garments for adults, and will be available from October 1st. A t-shirt with the logo in navy blue and yellow will go on sale on September 1st. The first collection of Clark’s sneakers and apparel will launch in 2026, according to Nike. She will join Nike athletes A’ja Wilson and Sabrina Ionescu as active WNBA players with signature sneakers. Clark, the all-time leading scorer in NCAA Division I history, has been a Nike athlete since 2022 and, in 2024, signed a long-term deal with the sportswear giant reportedly worth $28 million, which is considered the most lucrative endorsement deal for a women’s basketball player. Monday’s news reflected that this is a central pillar of that expanded partnership.

“At Nike, we have always been inspired not only by the best athletes in the world, but also by those who elevate the spirit of sport itself. Caitlin is an example of both: an exceptional basketball player and an outstanding ambassador for the game. We are excited to take this next step together, continuing to shape this historic moment for women’s basketball and driving the game and the industry forward”.

Ann Miller, Vice President of Global Sports Marketing at Nike
Clark set a number of records in her rookie WNBA season, finishing fourth in the MVP voting, but has been limited to only 13 appearances in 2025 due to an injury.
