Diego León, young promise of Paraguayan football, joins Manchester United. The Manchester United has made official the incorporation of the Paraguayan defender Diego León, 18 years old, from Cerro Porteño. The club describes him as “an emerging talent” with a promising future. León, who turned 18 in April, arrives at the English club after playing 33 matches with Cerro Porteño’s first team. The club has expressed its intention to support the young player in his adaptation to life in Manchester, combining his development in the first team and the academy. The signing is subject to the completion of León’s registration process.
