Manchester United will make important decisions regarding its squad ahead of the preseason in the United States, according to sources close to the club.

Key Players Out of the Tour

Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Tyrell Malacia and Jadon Sancho will not be part of the team that will travel to Chicago on Tuesday. These players are available for transfer this summer and have been training separately from the rest of the team at Carrington. The club has decided to support coach Ruben Amorim, who believes that these four players are not in his plans.
Ruben Amorim will leave four key players out of United’s pre-season tour of the United States. The decision to exclude these players seeks to avoid distractions during the three matches in the United States. The club is willing to listen to offers for them, even at reduced prices, before the transfer market closes. Antony has been linked with Real Betis and Atletico Madrid, while Juventus has shown interest in Sancho. Ruben Amorim admits Manchester United lacks speed after the draw with Leeds. Garnacho prefers to stay in the Premier League. United valued the winger at around 70 million pounds in January, but is now willing to listen to offers close to 40 million. Furthermore, United has agreed to loan Marcus Rashford to Barcelona for one season. Barcelona will pay 100% of Rashford’s salary and will have the option to sign him permanently next summer for around 30 million euros. Rashford arrived in Barcelona on Sunday to close the deal. He hasn’t played for United since December and was on loan at Aston Villa for the second half of last season.
