Foligno is in his third season with the Blackhawks. The forward has recorded two assists in the four games he has played, without scoring goals. In September 2024, Foligno was named the thirty-fifth captain of the team, one of the original NHL teams. His father, Mike, played in the NHL for 15 years, and his brother, Marcus, currently plays for Minnesota. The Blackhawks played a road game against St. Louis on Wednesday night.
