Lamar Jackson Pushes Fan After Incidents at Stadium
In an encounter full of emotions, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, starred in an incident with a fan during the 41-40 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night. After throwing a 29-yard touchdown pass to DeAndre Hopkins in the third quarter, Jackson and Hopkins were celebrating near the front row of Highmark Stadium. A fan, wearing a red Bills jersey, first hit Hopkins on the helmet and then did the same to Jackson. The quarterback’s reaction was immediate, responding with a push with both hands that caused the fan to fall backward. The fan was ejected from the stadium after the incident.Jackson, a two-time NFL MVP, stated that the incident will not change his interaction with fans during games. He slapped me and was talking, so for a moment I forgot where I was. You have to think in those situations. You have security there; let security handle it. But I let my emotions get the better of me. I hope it doesn’t happen again. I learned from that.

The Ravens led 34-19 after Hopkins’ touchdown with 1:09 remaining in the third quarter. Baltimore was outscored 22-6 in the final quarter.I’ve never seen our fans do that. So I’ll probably do it again when we score a touchdown. It’s nothing against the fans. I’m just celebrating when my teammates score a touchdown.
