Kyler Murray in Doubt for Game Against the Colts

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is questionable for the Week 6 game against the Indianapolis Colts, after suffering a foot injury during Sunday’s loss to the Tennessee Titans. Coach Jonathan Gannon reported that Murray will not participate in Wednesday’s practices and his status will be evaluated day-to-day for the rest of the week.

If he’s healthy enough to play, he’ll play.

Murray left the match in the third quarter of the game against the Titans, returning to the field after being absent for two plays. In the current season, Murray has thrown for 962 yards, with 110 of 161 passes completed and six touchdowns, as well as three interceptions. He has also rushed 29 times for 173 yards and a touchdown. In the event that Murray is unable to play on Sunday, Jacoby Brissett, who was signed by the Cardinals as a free agent during the offseason, would be the starting quarterback. Gannon described Brissett as a “true professional” on Wednesday.

I know that term is used a lot, but when you’re in his position, all of our players, but the quarterback position is the most difficult in sports, and knowing that you’re one play away from your role changing, you really have to pay attention to the details as if you were the starter and he has a smile on his face. He loves to practice, he loves to prepare, he loves to play.
