Kyle Pitts Returns to Action with the Falcons
FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts returned to the field this Thursday, marking the start of the team’s training camp. Pitts had been absent from previous activities due to an unspecified injury. Falcons coach Raheem Morris reported that Pitts was cleared to practice with certain “modifications”.During Thursday’s practice, no limitations were noticed in Pitts. Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. connected with Pitts on several highlight plays against the second-team defense. We won’t keep him out, but we’ll take some things away and lighten his load to make sure everything goes well.

Pitts, 24, assured that he did not feel limited in any way. He claimed to feel healthy and 100%, although he did not want to go into details about his injury. Selected at the number 4 spot in the 2021 draft by the Falcons, Pitts had a record-breaking rookie season, with 1,026 receiving yards on 68 receptions and a Pro Bowl selection. However, he has not managed to replicate that success due to injuries and inconsistencies. Pitts stated that he does not pay attention to external criticism as he prepares for his fifth season in the league.I gave the ball to KP today. There’s going to be a lot of that.
Michael Penix Jr.
Last season, Pitts made several important receptions, including a touchdown catch on fourth down against the Washington Commanders. Penix will be Pitts’ fifth quarterback in five seasons. This is also a contract year for Pitts, as the Falcons exercised his fifth-year option. If he doesn’t renew or receive the franchise player designation, he will be a free agent next offseason. Pitts mentioned that he is leaving that conversation for later.I don’t read that garbage. I don’t go on Twitter and listen to the bots who can’t come out here in 90-degree weather and do what we do.

We’ll figure it out in the end. I take it day by day. Today is the first day of camp.
