Bills Adjust Their Aerial Attack for Thursday’s Game
The Buffalo Bills continue to make adjustments to their receiving corps ahead of Thursday night’s matchup against the Houston Texans. Wide receiver Keon Coleman is expected to be ruled out for the second consecutive time, according to sources. Coleman did not play in the team’s victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 11, after being late to a team meeting on the Friday before the game. The number 33 pick of the 2024 draft was initially in the plans to play that week. The team has elevated wide receiver Gabe Davis from the practice squad for consecutive weeks, along with tight end Keleki Latu. Tight ends Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) and wide receiver Curtis Samuel (elbow/neck) are out for Thursday’s game. Wide receiver and returner Mecole Hardman Jr. has been placed on injured reserve after only one game with Buffalo. He suffered a calf injury on a kick return in which he lost the ball against the Buccaneers. Last week’s exclusion marked the third time Coleman has missed playing time in his two-year career due to disciplinary issues. He missed the first quarter of a game with the Jaguars in 2024 and the first series against the New England Patriots in Week 5. Coleman, 22, spoke after the game against Tampa Bay and acknowledged his tardiness, taking responsibility.I am aware of how he handled the situation more publicly, and I appreciate and respect it. And now, it’s again, one day at a time, and earning the trust and respect of his teammates. And that takes time, so every day that passes, you mark them as victories, trust is built. That’s the important part.
