Nuggets Beat Timberwolves in a Game Marked by Technical Fouls

MINNEAPOLIS – The Denver Nuggets secured a victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves with a score of 123-112 on Saturday night. However, the final result was the only statistic available at the conclusion of the game.

A technical failure in the NBA’s statistics system, located on the court, interrupted the data recording program during the third quarter at the Target Center.

A Timberwolves employee told the Associated Press that the system crashed when the statisticians tried to record a double foul that was called with 2:08 remaining in the third quarter.

During the rest of the match, the electronic scoreboard only displayed the game time and the teams’ scores. No individual statistics were collected.

The final statistics were published on NBA.com several hours after the game ended.
