Milwaukee Bucks Defends its Title in the NBA Cup

The NBA has revealed the groups for the third edition of the NBA Cup tournament, where the Milwaukee Bucks, the current champions, will seek to defend their title. The tournament will begin on October 31st and will run until December 16th. The Bucks will face New York, Chicago, Charlotte, and Miami in the group stage. The tournament format will include group stage matches, quarter-finals, semi-finals and the grand final. The quarter-finals will be played between December 9th and 10th, while the semi-finals and the final will take place in Las Vegas on December 13th and 16th, respectively. The group stage matches will be played with a format of two home and two away matches for each team. The teams that fail to advance to the quarterfinals or semifinals will play additional matches against other teams that also do not qualify, thus ensuring that the regular season extends to 82 games. The quarter-final and semi-final matches will count towards the regular season for the teams involved. The full schedules will be announced in August, along with the rest of the NBA schedule for the 2025-26 season.

  • Group B (West): L.A. Lakers, LA Clippers, Memphis, Dallas, New Orleans.
  • Group C (West): Houston, Denver, Golden State, Portland, San Antonio.
