Landry Shamet Injures Shoulder in Game Against Magic
New York Knicks guard Landry Shamet was forced to leave the game against the Orlando Magic due to a right shoulder injury.
The incident occurred while defending Jalen Suggs at mid-court. Shamet collided with a screen set by Wendell Carter Jr., showing obvious signs of pain and heading to the locker room with 9:17 remaining in the first quarter.
Shamet’s injury was confirmed at the beginning of the second quarter of the game.
This injury comes after a period of good performance for Shamet, who had recorded his best five games of the season with the Knicks. Including four consecutive games scoring in double digits, highlighting a performance of 36 points in the victory over Miami.
The Knicks also reported that Miles McBride was questionable for the game due to an illness.
