Jalen Green, Sensitive Loss for the Suns’ Start
The Phoenix Suns are forced to face the start of the season without one of their key additions. Jalen Green, who arrived at the team during the break, will be out of action due to a hamstring injury.
Suns coach Jordan Ott revealed that Green re-injured himself during the team’s China tour earlier this month.
Green’s situation will be reviewed in ten days, which means his absence will extend beyond the first regular season game against the Sacramento Kings, scheduled for October 22.
Originally, a low-grade hamstring strain was diagnosed during training camp. Despite this, Green accompanied the Suns on their trip to China, where they played two preseason games against the Brooklyn Nets.
The talented guard is expected to play an important role on the team. The Suns acquired him as part of the trade that involved Kevin Durant and included the Houston Rockets.
