Tyler Herro ready to debut with the Heat
The Miami Heat’s star guard, Tyler Herro, is expected to debut this season on Monday against the Dallas Mavericks, according to sources close to the team.
Herro underwent ankle surgery on September 19 and will rejoin a Miami team that currently has an 11-6 record, following four consecutive wins.
The Heat have been averaging 124.9 points per game, the best in the league, thanks to their new offense. Now, the team is getting back their top scorer from last season.
Last season, Herro had to deal with problems in his left foot, before suffering an ankle injury during a preseason training that required surgery. In the previous season, Herro averaged 23.9 points, 5.5 assists, and 5.2 rebounds.
During Herro’s absence, Norman Powell has taken on the scoring responsibility, averaging 24.9 points per game.
