Toros del Este Announce Start of Preseason for the 2025-26 Season
LA ROMANA – Los Toros del Este have officially announced the call to their preseason training, marking the beginning of the preparation for the 2025-26 season. The event is scheduled for Monday, September 22nd at the Francisco Micheli Stadium.
Additionally, an Early Camp has been established, commencing on September 15th. This initiative aims to optimize the players’ preparation for the start of the season.
Jesús Mejía, general manager of the franchise, will be in charge of receiving the players at the “Corral” starting at 9:00 in the morning. Manager Víctor Estévez will be in charge of the practices.
The call extends to position players and pitchers, including those selected in the next LIDOM Rookie Draft, scheduled for September 10. The Early Camp is designed for players who need an additional period of physical conditioning.
The technical staff will be composed of Jordan Norberto, in charge of preparing the pitchers, the Cuban Brayan Peña, bench coach, and other already announced coaches.
Edwin Encarnación, recently appointed advisor to the Baseball Operations Department, and a new immortal of Dominican sports, is expected to be present.
