Titans of the South Dominate Lions in LNB Semifinal
San Cristóbal – In a vibrant match played at the San Cristóbal Sports Center, the Titans of the South won against the Leones de Santo Domingo, with a final score of 89-74, in the first game of the Semifinal B of La Súper Liga of the LNB.
Jassel Pérez’s stellar performance was key to the Titans’ triumph. Pérez led the offense with 25 points, demonstrating great shooting efficiency with 10 out of 20 attempts from the field. In addition, he contributed with 4 assists and 4 rebounds.
Tyran De Lattibeaudiere also had an outstanding performance, scoring 21 points and grabbing 8 rebounds. Randy Bautista contributed 10 points, while Jhonatan Araujo achieved 9 units and 11 rebounds. Luis David Montero contributed with 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. Richard Bautista stood out in the distribution of the game, dishing out 11 assists and stealing 2 balls.
The Titans’ defense was a determining factor in the game. The team forced 17 turnovers, stole 11 balls, and blocked 5 shots. In addition, they limited the Lions to only 2 three-pointers made out of 13 attempts, a 15% effectiveness.
