TBS District 2025 Day Suspended Due to Weather Conditions
Santo Domingo. The Organizing Committee of the Superior Basketball Tournament of the National District (TBS Distrito 2025) has announced the total suspension of the day scheduled for this Tuesday. The decision was made due to the adverse weather conditions caused by the passage of tropical storm Melissa over the national territory. The original calendar included two exciting matchups at the Virgilio Travieso Soto Sports Palace. The first game was scheduled for 7:00 p.m., with the match between Los Prados and San Carlos. Following that, the duel between Huellas del Siglo and Mauricio Báez was expected.The Organizing Committee has prioritized the safety of everyone involved: players, coaches, referees, technical staff and, of course, the fans. The date on which this day will be rescheduled will be announced in due course. The Organizing Committee thanks the public and participating teams for their understanding, urging everyone to remain attentive to official announcements.The measure was adopted in compliance with the recommendations of the meteorological and civil protection authorities.
