Miami, USA – A few days before Super Bowl LX, which promises an exciting matchup between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks, ticket prices reach unprecedented figures. Both in the official and secondary market, values range from $5,500 to $52,000, according to the main sales platforms.

The expected meeting will take place on Sunday, February 8th at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. This stadium, with a capacity for 68,500 spectators, has been the home of the San Francisco 49ers since 2014.

According to the available information, Ticketmaster offers the cheapest ticket for $5,904, for a seat in a corner of the fourth level of the stadium. On the opposite end, the most expensive seat is priced at $52,650, located in a VIP area near the Patriots’ sideline.

StubHub, in the secondary market, sells its cheapest ticket at $6,120, while the maximum price reaches $36,431, also in a preferential sector near the Seahawks area.

TickPick presents tickets from $5,649 in the upper stadium zones, with prices reaching $32,815 in premium locations.

The average ticket price for Super Bowl LX is around $8,200, surpassed only by Super Bowl LVIII in 2024, held in Las Vegas, where the average exceeded $9,000 per ticket a week and a half before the event. Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans had an average of $8,076 in the same prior period.

This price increase reflects the growing popularity of the most-watched sporting event in the United States. In 1967, the average price of a ticket for the Super Bowl was 12 dollars, a figure that, adjusted for inflation, would exceed 100 dollars today.

The $1,000 per entry threshold was surpassed for the first time at Super Bowl XLIII in 2009. Since then, the increase has been constant, with more pronounced growth in the last decade.

The match between the Patriots and Seahawks is a rematch of Super Bowl XLIX from 2015, remembered for Malcolm Butler’s interception of Russell Wilson on the final play, which secured New England’s victory by 28-24. This moment is considered one of the most memorable in NFL history.
