Santo Domingo, R.D. – The Technical Directorate of the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM) announced through its X account that the game between Toros del Este and Águilas Cibaeñas, scheduled for this Monday, January 19, 2026, corresponds to the previously annulled game.
The game, which will take place at the Francisco Micheli stadium in La Romana at 7:30 p.m., is directly related to Contentious Resolution No. PL-002-2025-2026. This resolution nullified the match originally played on January 16th.
LIDOM clarified that with this matchup, both teams will complete the 18 games of the Round Robin schedule for the 2025-2026 tournament. This encounter is crucial to determine the teams that will advance to the final.
The league also reported that, if the result of this game generates a tie between both teams in second place in the Round Robin, a tiebreaker game will be played.
This additional game will be held at the headquarters of the team that won the particular series during this semifinal stage of the championship, as established in article 19 of the current regulations.
