Licey Defines its Rotation for Upcoming Games

The Tigres del Licey have announced the pitching rotation for the next three games of the 2025-26 autumn-winter baseball championship. The series will include two games against the Águilas Cibaeñas and a visit to the Gigantes del Cibao.Adonis Medina (1-1, 2.08) will be the starter this Friday at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal Stadium at 7:30 p.m. against the Águilas Cibaeñas. This will be his first start of the season after eight relief appearances, where he has pitched 13 innings, allowing only three earned runs, with four walks and 11 strikeouts. Opposing hitters are batting .227 against him.

On Saturday, the imported lefty Nico Tellache (1-2) will take the mound when the Licey visits the Águilas at the Cibao Stadium at 6:00 p.m. It will be his sixth appearance of the season and his fifth start. Tellache has pitched 16 innings, accumulating 10 strikeouts and six walks, limiting his opponents to a .211 batting average, one of the lowest on the team.

On Sunday, veteran right-hander Radhamés Liz (0-1, 2.25) will be the starter against the Gigantes del Cibao at the Julián Javier Stadium, with the game scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Liz will make his fourth start of the season, showing a dominant performance: opponents are batting .146 against him, in addition to adding 14 strikeouts in 12 innings, which puts him in third place on the team in that department.
