Judge Shines with Double HR and 30 Home Runs; Yankees Beat Athletics

Bronx, New York – Aaron Judge once again demonstrated his power by hitting two home runs, totaling 30 for the season, thus leading the attack of the New York Yankees in a 12-5 victory over the Oakland Athletics at Yankee Stadium. With this outstanding performance, Judge reaches the figure of 30 home runs in a season for the sixth time in his career, remaining only two away from the lead in the American League. It was his 44th game with multiple home runs, achieving one in the fourth inning against Luis Severino and another in the seventh against Tyler Ferguson. Jazz Chisholm Jr. also had an outstanding performance, driving in four runs, including a home run in the second inning and a bases-loaded triple in the third. Since his return from a right oblique injury, Chisholm has a batting average of .318, with six home runs and 18 RBIs.

Shortstop Anthony Volpe was ejected in the eighth inning after protesting a called strikeout, in a day full of emotions for the New Yorkers.
