Aaron Judge Achieves Historic Milestone with his 50th Home Run

In Yankee Stadium, Aaron Judge continues to write his name in golden letters in baseball history. The player hit his 50th home run of the season, an achievement that places him in a select group of MLB legends.

Judge becomes the fourth player in league history to accumulate four seasons with at least 50 home runs.

This milestone places him alongside iconic figures like Babe Ruth, Mark McGwire, and Sammy Sosa.

Additionally, Judge joins Ruth as the only Yankees hitters to achieve consecutive seasons of 50 or more home runs, following his 58 home runs in 2024.

The historic home run came in the second inning, against a pitch from Jonathan Cannon. The ball, hit at 106.9 mph, traveled 392 feet to the center field bullpen.

With this new home run, Judge has a career total of 365 home runs, surpassed in Yankees history by Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, and Lou Gehrig.

This achievement adds to another recent record, receiving 34 intentional walks in a season, tying Ted Williams’ record.

Judge continues to prove to be a dominant and emblematic figure in Major League Baseball.
