Juan Pablo Duarte Games – New York 2025: A Major Sporting Event
New York is preparing to host the Juan Pablo Duarte Games – New York 2025, an event that promises to be a milestone in the sporting calendar. From August 15 to 31, the city will vibrate with the participation of more than 2,000 athletes competing in 21 different disciplines.
The sports event is shaping up to be a comprehensive celebration that will merge sports, culture, and Dominican identity. This sporting event is expected to go beyond mere competition and become a platform to strengthen community ties and promote cultural values.
Athletes from various communities, including New York, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Boston, and Providence Rhode Island, among others, will gather to showcase their talent and compete for glory.
The organization of the games is in charge of the Ministry of Sports, in collaboration with the Dominican Sports Union in New York and the Dominican consulate in the Big Apple.
The opening ceremony will take place at Lehman College, located in the heart of the Bronx.
This edition of the Juan Pablo Duarte Games will be dedicated to Luis Mejía Oviedo, president of Centro Caribe Sport.
