José Ramírez Secures His Future with the Cleveland Guardians

Dominican star third baseman, José Ramírez, has sealed his long-term continuity with the Cleveland Guardians, after finalizing a new contract extension. This agreement, for seven years and 175 million dollars, will keep him linked to the franchise until the 2032 season. The new contract is a renegotiation of the previous agreement from April 2022, which included five years and 124 million dollars. Of that original contract, three seasons were still pending, with a value of 69 million dollars. This restructuring adds four additional years to the initial link, extending Ramírez’s commitment until 2032 and raising the total value of the contract to 175 million dollars. This consolidates Ramírez as a fundamental pillar in the organization’s sports project.

Ramírez is considered one of the most outstanding third basemen in Major League Baseball, known for his offensive consistency, leadership, and defensive skills.
