Clásico Cibao FC vs. Atlético Pantoja Closes Matchday 5 of the LDF
The expected “Clásico de Clásicos” of the Dominican Republic Football League (LDF) will star in the closing of matchday 5 of the Liguilla. Cibao FC will face Club Atlético Pantoja on Sunday at 3:30 in the afternoon at the Panamericano stadium, in an event dedicated to doctor José Rafael Abinader.
The 5th matchday finds Cibao FC sharing the top of the table with Delfines del Este and Moca FC, all with 7 accumulated points. For their part, Pantoja is in fourth position, tied with Salcedo FC, remembering that the top four teams advance to the semifinals.
Cibao FC presents a record of two victories, one draw and one defeat, with 7 goals for and 5 against, resulting in a positive balance of +2. Atlético Pantoja, for its part, arrives at the match with one victory, two draws and one defeat, adding five points, with 5 goals for and 3 against, also with a balance of +2.
Cibao FC and Pantoja are the only clubs with more than one title in the LDF since its inception in 2015.
