Asonadina Announces 2025 National Swimming Championship

The National District Swimming Association (Asonadina) has officially announced the celebration of its 2025 National Championship, an event that promises strong emotions in the Dominican aquatic field.

The championship will take place on the 13th and 14th of September next year. The venue chosen for this important competition is the Santiago Swimming Pool Complex, located at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM).

Adrián Marte, event director, has confirmed that the participation of more than 500 athletes and 20 teams from various regions of the country is expected.

The competition is officially supported by the Dominican Federation of Aquatic Sports (Fedda), ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

The participation of the associations of the National District, Santiago, La Vega, La Altagracia and Santo Domingo is expected.

The event will feature judges from the International Federation, as well as a state-of-the-art electronic timing system.

The Ministry of Sports, Fedda, and the Dominican Olympic Committee provide their sponsorship to ensure the success of this national championship.

Among the participating clubs are Atlantic Claro, Casa de España, Club Acuático Titanes de Santo Domingo, Delfines del Naco, Huracanes del Santo Domingo Country Club, Las Estrellas Marinas, Team Sin Fallos, No Bulla and Tiburones Santiago Country Club, among others.
