Santo Domingo – Player Cristian Adames, in his debut season with the Tigres del Licey, has expressed his satisfaction with the integration and the positive atmosphere experienced in the team’s practices. Adames feels completely adapted and focused on contributing to the goal of winning the crown in the 2025-2026 season of the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM).
Adames highlighted that he arrives in optimal physical condition after his participation in the Mexican league. In addition, he mentioned his versatility to perform in different positions on the field and as a designated hitter.I feel very happy. I am already adapted to the clubhouse, to the group, and the important thing is that we are working hard to achieve what we want, which is the crown.

Regarding his role, Adames highlighted the communication with manager Gilbert Gómez, who values his ability to play in multiple defensive positions. Adames feels prepared for any task and focused on constantly improving. The experienced player also spoke about the atmosphere in the team after last season, in which the Tigres failed to win the championship.
