Resounding Success at the 5K Foot Rally in San Cristóbal
San Cristóbal, R.D. – The Chamber of Commerce and Production of San Cristóbal, together with the San Cristóbal Diagnostic Center (CEDISANC), successfully held the 5K Foot Rally this Sunday. The sporting activity attracted numerous merchants and citizens, promoting well-being and community integration. The event marked the closing of Health Week, an initiative that seeks to highlight the importance of physical and mental health for productivity and balance in the population. The 5K route toured historic sites in the city, combining exercise with a cultural experience through emblematic places in San Cristobal.Víctor Ramón Montás, president of the Chamber of Commerce, led the awards ceremony at the end of the competition. Economic incentives of RD$30,000, RD$20,000 and RD$10,000 were awarded to the three winning couples. The winners also received gifts from sponsoring companies such as Equipo Creativo, Quality Seguro, Restaurante La Chivería, Suerox and CPS. With this activity, both organizations reaffirm their commitment to the promotion of healthy habits, the appreciation of historical heritage, and the strengthening of the business and social fabric of the province.The initiative reaffirms the commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles.
