An emergency situation was reported early Tuesday morning in Malibu, California, when a large sinkhole opened in front of a property belonging to renowned actor Nicolas Cage. The incident, caused by coastal erosion, forced local authorities to deploy a security and evacuation operation in the Lechuza Beach area.
The collapse occurred specifically in the 31600 block of Sea Level Drive, severely impacting both the residence’s vehicular entrance and the adjacent road infrastructure. According to reports from Alofoke Deportes, the hole reached critical dimensions, measuring up to 7.6 meters deep and spanning between 9 and 18 meters in length.
