PRM ratifies leadership boards in the National Congress

The Executive Directorate of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) has made official the continuity of its main figures in the National Congress. After a strategic meeting, the political organization confirmed that Ricardo de los Santos and Alfredo Pacheco will continue to lead the Senate of the Republic and the Chamber of Deputies, respectively, for the next legislative period.

Structure of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies

For the Upper House, the PRM has designated a new support structure that will accompany De los Santos. Julito Fulcar will assume the vice presidency, while the secretariats will be in charge of Guillermo Lama and Aracelys Villanueva. For its part, the Chamber of Deputies will maintain its current directive board, with Dharuelly D´Aza as vice president and Eduviges Bautista along with Emil Durán in the secretariats.

Legislative continuity and consensus

This decision responds to the trust placed by the ruling party in the management capacity and institutional leadership demonstrated by both legislators. During their tenure, both De los Santos and Pacheco have prioritized constant dialogue and consensus-building, key elements for the advancement of the national agenda in Congress.

The ratification of these leadership positions reflects the PRM’s commitment to stability and legislative effectiveness, ensuring that parliamentary work remains focused on the country’s priority needs ahead of the legislative session that will begin on August 16th.

Unity agreements and future vision

In a display of internal cohesion and political maturity, the Executive Directorate unanimously approved the succession plan for the coming year. Among the most notable points of this agreement, the designation of Alexis Victoria as the next President of the Senate was established, who will have Daniel Rivera as Vice President, thus consolidating a message of unity within the organization.
