According to the results of a study conducted in September 2026, 56% of the citizens consulted endorse the president’s administration, consolidating his performance against 39% who maintain a critical stance, while 5% preferred not to pass judgment on his current work.
Cabinet evaluation and perception of integrity
The investigation, which delved into various aspects of public administration, also put the work of the presidential cabinet under the microscope. In this area, the numbers show a closer division: 46% of respondents positively value the government team’s performance, compared to 41% who disapprove of the management, leaving 13% of citizens without a defined opinion.
A standout finding of the study is the perception regarding the integrity of the head of state. 71% of the participants in the survey identify President Abinader as an honest figure, marking a clear difference from the 17% who hold an opposing opinion.
