Following the recent 3-0 defeat suffered against the United States national team in the semifinal stage of the NORCECA championship, the prominent volleyball player and former captain of the Queens of the Caribbean, Niverka Marte, shared her impressions on the national team’s performance. Although she acknowledged that there is a feeling of sadness in the locker room for not having achieved the expected result, she made it clear that the group maintains a resilient mindset.

The Dominican team is focused on processing the sporting setback, but Marte emphasized that the players’ determination remains intact. Far from being discouraged, the collective focus is on the immediate challenges ahead for the national women’s volleyball team.
