Concern in the Motorsport World: Tyler Reddick’s Son Hospitalized

The wife of NASCAR driver Tyler Reddick reported on Sunday that their four-month-old son is in the cardiovascular intensive care unit of a hospital in North Carolina. Alexa Reddick shared on social media that doctors are focused on improving the “cardiac function” of Rookie, the couple’s second child, born in May.

She explained that she had been seeking medical attention for Rookie for a while, without getting clear answers about what seemed to be “signs of heart failure that were being overlooked”.

In her post, Alexa added: “Always trust your mother’s instinct.” Pilot Tyler Reddick, who has not made public statements about his son’s health, finished in seventh place in Sunday’s race at Kansas Speedway.
