With this victory, Bell joins his JGR teammates, Denny Hamlin and Chase Briscoe, as winners in the playoffs, marking the close of the first round in Bristol. The competition was intense, and several drivers were eliminated from championship contention, including Alex Bowman, Austin Dillon, Shane van Gisbergen, and Josh Berry. The race was full of action, with a record of 14 yellow flags and 137 laps under caution. The teams had to deal with tire wear, which forced multiple pit stops and added excitement to the competition. The drama reached its peak when a fire affected Austin Cindric’s car, who, despite the incident, managed to secure the last spot for the second round. Brad Keselowski, seeking to break a 51-race winless streak, finished in second place, followed by Zane Smith, Ryan Blaney, and Joey Logano. Josh Berry was the first driver to be eliminated due to a fire in his vehicle. The next round of the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs will be held on Sunday, September 21st at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
