Dakota Ditcheva Withdraws Due to Injury from Her Next Fight
The promising MMA fighter, Dakota Ditcheva, will be forced to delay her return to the octagon due to an unspecified injury. The fighter, who has been dealing with physical problems in 2025, will not be able to participate in the scheduled fight against Denise Kielholtz on February 7 in Dubai.
The news was confirmed by official sources this Tuesday, generating expectation about Ditcheva’s health and the estimated time of her recovery. The Professional Fighters League (PFL) has not revealed details about the nature of the injury, keeping fans and the mixed martial arts community in suspense.
The flyweight category matchup was scheduled to complement a main card that includes two title fights, highlighting the lightweight main event between defending champion Usman Nurmagomedov and Alfie Davis.
Ditcheva, originally from Manchester and 27 years old, is considered one of the most prominent figures in the PFL. Her last appearance was in July, where she achieved a decision victory over Sumiko Inaba, although she suffered a hand fracture during the fight. Following this triumph, the fighter announced the renewal of her contract with the PFL, but has not yet been able to compete since then.
Ditcheva’s career is characterized by her decisiveness, with 12 of her professional victories obtained by knockout. She has only gone to the judges’ decision twice.
