Tarik Skubal Reassures Tigers Fans After Early Exit

Detroit Tigers ace Tarik Skubal is in the spotlight after leaving Friday’s game against the Miami Marlins due to left side discomfort. However, the news is encouraging for fans. According to manager A.J. Hinch, the imaging tests performed on Saturday were negative. This suggests that the injury is not serious, which reassures the fans and the team. Skubal, who threw 45 pitches in 3.1 innings, allowed four hits and four earned runs. Despite the early exit, the pitcher did not concede walks and struck out two batters. The star pitcher faced a situation in the fourth inning, allowing a single by Heriberto Hernandez. After retiring Eric Wagaman, Skubal had to leave the game.

“There are some pains that come and go when you’re playing. This one was new to me,” Skubal said after the game. “And that’s what kind of made the decision for me.”
