Pete Crow-Armstrong and Corbin Carroll Join Team USA for the 2026 World Baseball Classic

Chicago Cubs center fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong and Arizona Diamondbacks right fielder Corbin Carroll have been added to the Team USA roster for the upcoming 2026 World Baseball Classic. These two young talents join the list of players already confirmed by Team USA manager Mark DeRosa, which includes Aaron Judge, Cal Raleigh, and Paul Skenes.

We need energy, inject youth. We will have the great captain, the MVP of the American League, in right field. But I think we need young prospects to go for it, to connect some home runs.

Mark DeRosa, Manager of Team USA
Both players have had outstanding seasons, achieving notable statistics. Crow-Armstrong, at 23 years old, batted .247 with 31 home runs, 95 RBIs, and 35 stolen bases in his second full season in the Major Leagues with the Cubs. Carroll, 25, batted .259 with 31 home runs, 84 RBIs, 17 triples, and 32 stolen bases for the Diamondbacks.
