Aaron Judge Returns to Right Field
New York Yankees star Aaron Judge will return to action in the outfield, marking his return to right field against the Toronto Blue Jays. This will be the first time Judge has played in right field since last July 25th.
Since returning from the injured list on August 5, due to a strain in his right arm flexor, Judge had been acting as the designated hitter for the Yankees.
This change also allows Giancarlo Stanton to return to his designated hitter role. Stanton had played in right field for the first time in almost two years, in an attempt by the Yankees to keep both powerful hitters in the lineup.
In the current season, Judge is batting .322, with 43 home runs and 97 RBIs in 130 games.
