The Atlanta Braves activated star outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. from the 10-day injured list this Friday.
Acuña Jr. had been out of action since July 29 due to a first-degree strain in his right calf, after a more serious injury to the Achilles tendon was initially feared.
The player is already in the lineup for this Friday’s game against the Cleveland Guardians, where he will play in right field and bat third.
In a corresponding move on the roster, Atlanta designated catcher Sandy Leon for Triple-A Gwinnett.
