India reveals its lineup for the Adelaide Test

Wriddhiman Saha, R Ashwin, and Prithvi Shaw have been selected to represent India in the upcoming Adelaide Test. Umesh Yadav completes the trio of fast bowlers. The team selection was resolved one day before the expected test, clearing up any uncertainty about the starting lineup. Prithvi Shaw, who has faced criticism, maintains his place as an opener. Despite Shubman Gill’s good performance in the practice matches, Shaw, with his experience, continues in the lineup.
Similarly, Ashwin, the experienced test bowler, secures his place in the team. Ravindra Jadeja’s absence due to injury and concussion led to the decision to keep Ashwin in the lineup. Regarding the wicketkeeper position, India has opted for Wriddhiman Saha instead of Pant. The team management believes that Saha’s superior skills, especially when standing close to the bowlers, make him the best option for this match. Yadav was the frontrunner to be India’s third fast bowler, replacing the injured Ishant Sharma. His outstanding performance in the practice game cemented him as a strong choice.India Lineup:
