India reveals its lineup for the Adelaide Test

India has announced its team for the next test in Adelaide, with Wriddhiman Saha, R Ashwin and Prithvi Shaw included in the lineup. Umesh Yadav completes the trio of fast bowlers. The selection of Shaw as an opener, despite Shubman Gill’s good performance in the practice matches, was one of the key decisions. Although Gill impressed prominent figures, Shaw, as the starting opener, keeps his place. The team also chose to keep Ashwin, the starting spinner, especially in the absence of Ravindra Jadeja due to injury.
Regarding the wicketkeeper, India has chosen Saha over Pant, prioritizing his ball-catching skills, especially in conditions where the pink ball is a key factor.
