WrestleMania Expands: Saudi Arabia to Host the Event in 2027

The chosen destination is Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of the “Riyadh Season” events in 2027. Since its inception in 1985, WrestleMania has taken place exclusively in North American cities. The official announcement comes after confirmation from Turki Alalshikh, chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, who previously anticipated the news through a video on Snapchat.

WWE has been holding events in Saudi Arabia since 2018, as part of a billion-dollar deal that includes multiple shows over ten years. The upcoming 2025 Royal Rumble will be the first of the four most important WWE events to be held in the country.

Meanwhile, WrestleMania 42 will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 18 and 19, 2026. It will be the second consecutive time that Las Vegas hosts the event.
